Dads Love CIC ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Dads Love CIC is the data controller for the information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@dadslove.org with any question or request relating to your data.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what we need to respond to you, deliver our programmes safely, and process referrals responsibly:
- Contact form: name, email, phone number, and your message — used to respond to your enquiry.
- Sign-up form: name, email, phone number, which programmes you're interested in, and your child/children's age range — used to register your interest, contact you about sessions, and plan safe, age-appropriate delivery.
- Referral form: your details, and details of the father being referred (name and contact details, where known) — used to make contact and offer support. Referrals are reviewed by our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Our legal basis for processing this data is your consent, given when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in running our support programmes safely and responsibly.
Children's information
Where a form asks about a child (such as an age range), we collect the minimum information needed to plan sessions safely. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and all staff and volunteers working with children are DBS checked in line with our safeguarding policy.
How we store your data
Form submissions on this website are processed through Netlify's form handling service. Netlify may store submitted data on servers located outside the UK. We only use Netlify for this specific purpose and do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and sign-up data for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or deliver a programme you've joined, and referral data for as long as needed to safely support the referral, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict how we use your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dadslove.org. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies
This website does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. Only essential technical cookies required for the website and form functionality to work may be used.
Safeguarding
Dads Love CIC follows a full safeguarding policy. All coaches, mentors and volunteers working directly with children and families are DBS checked before working with our community. Our Wellbeing & Safeguarding Director acts as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and is responsible for reviewing all referrals and safeguarding concerns.
